Hands down thE best AND MOST AUTHENTIC Vietnamese food I have ever had in my life. Even better than in some places in Vietnam.
Many dishes from Hue. The west coast seafood prepared with Vietnamese flair was sophisticated, refined and elegant.
Taste sublime.
Hubby had fresh iced longan drink with massive chunks of FRESH longan and I had cafe fhin da without condensed milk to finish our lunch. The cafe da was strong and smooth like silk.
The interior of this place is like being in Hue. SPOTLESSLY CLEAN PLACE.
THIS IS A MUST DO when visiting! -

Okay, sometimes an older restaraunt that hasn't had a renovation in a long time is like a warm hug of familarity. The food was decent and service was prompt and super accurate. Gotta love a server who can take an order for a group and deliver it accurately without writing it down. The Vietnamese spring roll was super crispy and flavourful with authentic rice paper... I always find Vietnamese spring rolls in Chinese egg roll wraps weird. Not the case here! The soup broth was mild in flavour, and I like that they had a house special bowl of pho with a nice variety of meats, including meatballs which is not common. The waitress accurately remembered my request for no tripe, just cause I wasn't in the mood for funk today and beef on the side. The steak was of a nice quality and a bit thicker than I'd normally expect. Word of note, for the rawer beef lovers the meat was icy, so dunk it quickly!
Overall, I'd rate this place 3 stars, but on the lower end, cause the warm hug of old decor, also had a weird steaminess in the restaurant. Fog like?
But overall the service and food was decent enough where I would probably go back, and that's what neighbourhood spots are for. -

I was out with my family on last Friday(Nov 2nd) and we decided to go here for Pho. The restaurant was busy as usual.
Spring roll (2pcs, $6.50) came out fast; however, our Bun Bo Hue(small $9.25 after price increase) took forever to come. The waitress was serving few others (they came after we were seated) and she forgot about our table 20minutes later.
We were happy when we got our food. When our bowls came, one bowl had long piece of hair (not pictured) and the waitress didn't know this. I was so hungry and didn't bother taking a photo of this. Anyways , I hope our food comes faster on the next visit. -

I particularly came here for their bun bo Hue.
The look: it's ok, until I put the sate( chili oil paste) in and put some herbs in the look was improved significant.
The taste: broth is decent, wish they could do a bit more spicy and fishy( from the shrimp paste). The bowl is big for a girl so I can't finish it. It has enough meat like in Vietnam( not a lot like other restaurants honestly). The pork leg cooked perfectly, the skin was still crunchy. However they didn't use the correct crab meat ball for the soup, it's a bland straight pork meat ball only. They don't have the Vietnamese mint ( rau ram) either which actually surprised me since this herb can be found easily. Overall I would give it 7/10
We also ordered their shrimp and pork dumplings which are good. Their eggrolls were extremely good, the skin was super crispy. However, the dipping fish sauce suck for both dishes, too salty and not using quality fish sauce apparently.
The last item we ordered was Vietnamese coffee. It's perfect on point. I loved the fact that they gave us a pocket of ice separately so we can add as much ice as we want for our coffee.
Last but not least, the staff was very friendly, she actually gave good recommendations for good food ( not for sale purposes).
Definitely will come back here if we visit Vancouver again -

Big place, free parking by the street.large aquarium by the entrance but i beleived they are not maintaining it anymore only one little fish inside and looks dirty.
I love the decors specially where tha cashier is...its like a vietnamese native farm house, few novelties aswell from their country, the ceiling has plastic plants with artificial fruit aswell bitter melon and eggplant.
Large TV and wifi is powered by shaw .Toilets were clean and smells good.
Good for group, family and kids friendly, noise level is average despite a lot of clients inside.Accept cash/credit/debit
5 of us all nurse came here for a soup as this place is recommended by a friend. most of us got the beef and tripe and beef balls soup, myself i tried the number 1 soup in the menu well nothing special i should just order the usual soup i know, this one has pork knuckle and blood cubes and ham in short i dont like it.
Service is average, pricing is just okay.
not the best vietnamese place to have a soup.
